What is your style of photography?

Dress Studio’s style of photography is organic and naturally uses both color and light to highlight and draw attention to your precious moments. Selected images will be edited in color, black and white. Additionally, artistic editing may be included depending on your specific needs.

What locations do you shoot at?

Dress Studio will capture your photos wherever your dream location is, the beach, your home, the forest, the city…anywhere. Contact me to discuss your idea and let’s create something new together.

What do I wear?

Whatever makes you feel like you! A fancy dress, your old worn-out jeans, depending on your needs the possibilities are endless. Dress Studio’s sessions include all the help you need to make the best clothing choice for your day. Contact me to discuss what to wear for your session.

Can I bring multiple outfits?

Yes, you may bring as many outfits as you want to meet your personal needs and style. Two or three outfit changes for most sessions seem to be the magic number. Keep in mind your location, sometimes changing clothes may be tricky, especially in public areas with no changing room.

How long will the photo session take?

The length of the photo session depends on the type of session booked.

• Mini session - up to 30 minutes

• Full session - up to 1 hour

• Ultimate session - up to 2 hours

• Event session - Determined by the event.

How long until I have my images?

Dress Studio understands how important your images are and works to get your images edited and released as soon as possible. Generally, it takes about two weeks for images to be edited and released to you. The number of images, type of session, and the amount of editing ultimately determine the time from capture to release.

Will I own the images from my photo session?

Dress Studio will provide you with a release form that will allow you to print the images through any company you choose, and use however you want. I often get asked about who has the “copyrights” of the images taken. The short answer is Dress Studio will retain the rights to the photo. However, this term really means that Dress Studio is the creator and owner of the image and can use it for business purposes. The use of your images on the website and social media platforms will be discussed during our consultation prior to the shoot to meet your comfort level.

What are your prices?

Dress Studio’s goal is to keep image sessions affordable so everyone can capture their precious moments. All digital images include retouching with a variation of color, black and white, and artistic editing. All sessions have the option to purchase additional images.
